About Effecto Group

Effecto Group supplies end-of-arm tooling for industrial robots, including grippers, automatic and manual tool changers, deburring equipment and collision-protection devices. Its Applied Robotics range uses positive-locking couplers to carry mechanical loads and route pneumatic or electrical utilities between a robot and its tools.

The products let one workcell switch among assembly, dispensing, material-handling and welding tasks. Effecto supports selection and integration with technical drawings and application engineering, positioning the group as a tooling layer used by robot makers and system integrators.

  • 2022-05-23 - Product Launch - Effecto launches seventeen electric grippers

    Effecto and Applied Robotics announced immediate availability of seventeen electric grippers in May 2022. The range replaced compressed-air actuation with programmable electric motion for greater control and lower energy use. The launch expanded Effecto gripping options for applications requiring precision, repeatability and flexible setup.

  • 2021-05-27 - Deployment - Effecto gripper automates O-ring assembly at IVR

    The OPR gripper with integrated fingers was installed on new automated machines assembling O-rings into valves. IVR reported more consistent cycle times, fewer quality rejects and lower downtime after the installation. The application demonstrated Effecto end-of-arm tooling in a precision assembly process for industrial valve manufacturing.

  • 2018-01-25 - Partnership - Applied Robotics adds two United States sales partners

    Applied Robotics appointed Futura Automation and Smith Power Systems as representative partners on January 25, 2018. Futura added coverage across the western and southeastern United States for robotics customers and system integrators. Smith Power Systems took responsibility for the south-central region, expanding the sales channel for Effecto end-of-arm tooling.
