About Sonaca España
The Spanish aerostructures business was founded as Aciturri in 1977 and joined Sonaca through a controlling transaction completed in 2025. Now presented as Sonaca España, it contributes engineering, manufacturing, assembly and supply-chain capabilities across wing, fuselage and empennage structures. The profile retains Aciturri as an alias because historical contracts and technical documents use that name.
Its autonomy relevance is concentrated in electric aircraft rather than ground robotics. Official programme material identifies wing skins, spars and leading- and trailing-edge structures for Eve’s EVE-100, while Vertical Aerospace selected the business for airframe development and manufacture for its eVTOL programme.
