RECARO’s aircraft-seating business has operated as a dedicated aviation supplier since 1971 and is headquartered in Schwäbisch Hall. It is part of the privately held RECARO group and runs subsidiaries in the United States, Poland and China, alongside composite capability through AAT Composites.
The company designs, certifies and manufactures complete seat systems across economy, premium economy and business class, combining lightweight structures, mechanisms, electronics and cabin interfaces. Its relevance to Korthos is specific rather than general: Eve selected RECARO for the eVTOL’s passenger and pilot seats. That makes the company a certified subsystem endpoint in the advanced-air-mobility supply chain, not an autonomy developer, while its global industrial footprint provides a path from vehicle prototype requirements to repeatable cabin production.
