Teledyne Adimec builds digital camera platforms around high-resolution, high-frame-rate and low-noise image sensors. Its systems use interfaces including CoaXPress and are configured for semiconductor inspection, metrology, medical imaging, airborne observation and other applications where image fidelity must be maintained at production speed or under difficult lighting.
The company develops camera electronics, sensor control, thermal management and optical alignment as a matched package, then adapts housings, interfaces and processing for an equipment manufacturer’s system. This model supports both catalogue cameras and longer-term custom programmes that move from prototype through qualification and serial production. Teledyne acquired Adimec in June 2024 and now operates it as Teledyne Adimec within its digital-imaging portfolio.
