About Emergent Vision Technologies
Emergent Vision Technologies develops high-speed industrial cameras and network interfaces for machine vision. Its area-scan and line-scan families use 10, 25 and 100 Gigabit Ethernet to move high-resolution image streams over standard optical or copper networking.
The cameras pair CMOS sensors with deterministic acquisition software, network interface cards and GPU-direct processing pipelines. Multiple units can be synchronised for volumetric capture, inspection, sports analysis, mapping and scientific imaging without proprietary frame grabbers. Emergent supplies compact, rugged and high-resolution configurations plus eSDK software for system control, recording and integration into Windows and Linux applications.

Timeline
Events
- 2026-09-08 - Deployment - Emergent Vision cameras power SANOVO egg inspection machines
A 21-camera configuration captures 16 views of each egg across an 18-row grading machine. The system classifies defects and sends results to the machine controller at throughput up to about 255,000 eggs per hour. SANOVO expanded the camera system across multiple grading-machine configurations and offers retrofits for installed machines.
Source - 2026-08-20 - Product Launch - Emergent Vision expands BOLT 25GigE range with seven cameras
The models span resolutions from 12.3 to 104.9 megapixels with 2.74- and 5.48-micrometre pixel options. Five models extend sensor configurations previously announced for the ZENITH 100GigE family onto the BOLT platform. The cameras support GigE Vision 3.0, RDMA over RoCEv2 and Precision Time Protocol synchronization within one microsecond.
Source - 2026-06-09 - Product Launch - Emergent Vision begins shipping two ZENITH 100GigE cameras
The HZ-65000-SB uses a 67.1-megapixel Sony IMX928 sensor, while the HZ-25000-SBS uses the 26.2-megapixel IMX947. Both models use a 100GigE interface for high-resolution, high-frame-rate image transfer. The launch extended the ZENITH range with Sony Pregius S global-shutter configurations.
Source - 2026-04-18 - Capability - Emergent Vision adds GPUDirect support across its NIC range
The support covered the THEIA 10GigE, HERMES 25GigE and ZEUS 100GigE NIC families. GPUDirect lets image data move directly into GPU memory instead of making an intermediate copy through host memory. Emergent positioned the update for high-throughput multi-camera processing on both Windows and Linux systems.
Source - 2026-01-12 - Product Launch - Emergent Vision releases eSDK Pro for multi-camera systems
The SDK uses a pipeline architecture spanning image acquisition, synchronization, GPU transfer, processing and output. Emergent designed the framework for systems that scale across cameras, GPUs and multiple hosts. The release supports OEM deployment workflows as well as exporting recorded vision data into third-party software.
Source - 2024-12-13 - Product Launch - Emergent Vision launches Eros 10GigE camera series
The 29 by 29 millimetre camera platform was specified at 4.8 watts over 10GBaseT with Power over Ethernet and 3 watts over SFP+ fibre. Eros models were planned with visible, short-wave infrared, polarized and ultraviolet sensors ranging from 0.5 to 24.47 megapixels. The cameras supported zero-copy imaging and GPUDirect, while the BaseT interface could negotiate down to 5GigE, 2.5GigE or 1GigE.
