OG1 General-Purpose Construction Robot

OG1’s construction platform uses a modular tool system so one machine can be adapted to multiple trades. Origin trains its autonomy in simulated environments that reproduce variations in real jobsites, then develops and tests the equipment on active construction sites.

The robot is designed to work amid obstacles and changing site conditions, with perception and motion control supporting physical tasks. Origin also builds defect detection and correction into its approach to task execution, aiming to reduce rework as well as manual effort. Its development combines purpose-built construction hardware with learning-based control and interchangeable tooling.
