About IRB 1010
ABB IRB 1010 is a compact six-axis industrial robot for small-part manufacturing in dense production layouts. It has a 1.5 kg handling capacity, 0.37 m reach and 0.01 mm pose repeatability, and is paired with ABB's OmniCore E10 or C30 controller. Integrated air and vacuum routing supports end effectors without external hoses across the working envelope.
ABB designed the robot for miniaturised electronics and wearable-device processes including handling, assembly, placement and film peeling. Its small footprint also supports desktop education and training installations. The IRB 1010 remains in ABB's current articulated-robot catalogue and is commercially supported through RobotStudio, RobotWare and the OmniCore control environment.
