IRB 1100

ABB IRB 1100 is a compact six-axis industrial robot family for high-speed manufacturing cells. Both variants carry four kilograms, with reaches of 475 or 580 millimetres and pose repeatability of ±0.01 millimetres. The 21-kilogram arm is available with IP40 protection as standard, IP67 protection as an option and an ISO 4 cleanroom configuration for controlled production environments.

OmniCore E10, C30 and C90XT controllers provide the motion-control platform. ABB positions IRB 1100 for rapid assembly, pick-and-place, material handling, testing, loading and unloading, screwdriving and surface-finishing applications. End effectors, guarding and application engineering remain workcell-specific, and the capability records identify that configuration boundary. The two reach variants remain one product family because they share the IRB 1100 platform and payload class.
