IRB 4600 is a six-axis industrial-robot family covering payloads from 20 to 60 kilograms and reaches from 2.05 to 2.55 metres. Its compact base and slim upper arm allow dense cell layouts and access around machines and fixtures.

Variants support arc welding, material handling, machining, dispensing and machine tending. ABB offers Foundry Plus protection and LeanID internal dresspack routing for demanding processes. OmniCore controllers and RobotStudio provide motion control, simulation and production integration.
