Aeva Omni

About

About Aeva Omni

Omni uses frequency-modulated continuous-wave sensing to measure distance and instantaneous radial velocity for each detected point. This gives perception software direct motion information in the lidar return and supports separation of moving objects across successive observations.

Aeva integrates the CoreVision lidar-on-chip and X1 system-on-chip within a compact, passively cooled enclosure. The sensor is rated for harsh environmental exposure and combines a wide vertical field of view with an 80-metre stated maximum range, supporting near-field awareness around robots, vehicles and industrial equipment.
