About JT16

JT16 is the 16-channel configuration within Hesai’s JT32/16 miniature lidar family. It provides a 360-by-40-degree field of view, maximum range of approximately 30 metres and stated distance accuracy of ±three centimetres in a 64-by-62-millimetre enclosure weighing about 200 grams.

Power consumption of approximately 4.3 watts and IP6K7/IP6K9K protection support installation on AMRs, delivery robots and compact industrial vehicles. The rotating sensor supplies full-surround point-cloud information for localisation, mapping and obstacle detection where a larger automotive lidar would impose unnecessary size and power.
