About Hesai ATX

ATX is a compact long-range lidar with a 120-by-20-degree field of view, up to 256 channels and approximately 3.84 million points per second. It detects ten-percent-reflective targets at up to 230 metres while fitting within a 100-by-100-by-30-millimetre package weighing approximately 360 grams.

The sensor uses Hesai’s Fermi C500 processing architecture and consumes approximately eight watts, supporting integration behind vehicle body panels and on robots with constrained power and space. IP6K7 and IP6K9K validation, automotive safety development and fine angular resolution position ATX for ADAS, automated vehicles, delivery robots and other mobile perception systems.

  • SGS-TÜV certifies Hesai ATX to ISO 26262 ASIL B

    2025-06-26 - Regulatory - The product certificate applies to ATX, a compact high-resolution long-range automotive lidar. SGS-TÜV began certification during early product design and completed the assessment in June 2025. ATX became Hesai's fourth lidar with ISO 26262 certification after Pandar128, QT128 and AT128.

  • Marelli integrates Hesai ATX into headlamp concept

    2024-04-22 - Partnership - The concept places ATX inside a Marelli headlamp without changing the vehicle's external aerodynamic profile. ATX was described as nearly 60% smaller by volume than its preceding generation. Live demonstrations were scheduled for 25 April to 4 May 2024; the announcement did not establish series-production supply or a customer vehicle.

    2024-04-22 - Product Launch - The sensor uses Hesai’s fourth-generation architecture and a redesigned laser transceiver module. Its stated maximum detection range is 300 metres. Mass production was scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2025.
