About Axol
Axol is Almond's dual-arm robot for manipulation research, teleoperation and physical-AI development. Two seven-axis arms carry interchangeable grippers and provide a shared workspace for handling objects with both hands. The standalone robot mounts to a bench or fixture, with separate column, cart and powered-base options for different working arrangements.
Its open-source Python SDK and command-line tools combine bimanual inverse kinematics, joint control and LeRobot bindings. WebXR teleoperation records hand and elbow movements for demonstration collection, while optional wrist and head cameras provide additional views for learning and inference. Axol ships assembled with a power supply and two-finger grippers. As of October 2026 Almond lists it in stock from US$9,499; Jelly Mobile, cameras, compute and a teleoperation headset are configurable additions.
