About Uncrewed Pacific 950

Uncrewed Pacific 950 is an autonomous rigid-inflatable-boat demonstrator developed by BAE Systems with L3Harris and MSI Defence Systems. Automated navigational decision-making supports remote-controlled or semi-autonomous multi-phase missions, while operators retain responsibility for mission-critical decisions and any weapon engagement.

BAE reported successful trials in 2019, including operation up to 45 knots, ten days at patrol speed or 300 nautical miles in pursuit mode. The programme was explicitly used to develop and prove retrofit-ready autonomy for existing naval RIBs rather than marketed as a current stand-alone production boat. The profile therefore uses demonstrated status and preserves the distinction between the P950 demonstrator and later BAE autonomous-maritime offerings.
