Uncrewed Pacific 950

Uncrewed Pacific 950 is an autonomous rigid-inflatable-boat demonstrator developed by BAE Systems with L3Harris and MSI Defence Systems. Automated navigation supports remote-controlled and semi-autonomous multi-phase missions, while human operators retain mission supervision and every weapon-engagement decision.

Trials completed in 2019 demonstrated speeds up to 45 knots, endurance up to ten days at patrol speed and a 300-nautical-mile pursuit range. Pacific 950 served as a technology demonstrator for retrofit-ready autonomy on naval RIBs and exercised patrol, pursuit, force-protection and maritime-security behaviours. BAE Systems first introduced the experimental programme in 2015 and trialled it during the Royal Navy's Unmanned Warrior exercise in 2016.
