Gridpicker

About

About Gridpicker

Gridpicker’s picking robots each carry two order totes while working above the inventory shelves. Lightweight Fetcher robots move storage totes along rails and raise the required inventory into reach, allowing the picking arm to transfer individual items directly into orders. This separates inventory movement from manipulation while keeping both activities within the same storage structure.

Brightpick Intuition coordinates the installation using a real-time digital twin, assigning work and managing robot movement, buffering, sortation and consolidation. Brightpick unveiled Gridpicker in March 2026 and scheduled the first installations for later that year. Its proposed warehouse layout combines dense storage with robotic picking at the top of the grid.
