Elf 3
About
About Elf 3
Elf 3 is BXI Robotics' 1.45-metre, 38-kilogram general-purpose humanoid for embodied-AI research, education and industrial validation. Its 31 body degrees of freedom combine seven-axis arms, six-axis legs, a three-axis waist and a two-axis head. The robot supports autonomous control and teleoperation through an open ROS 2 development stack.
A 518 Wh battery supports about one hour of walking, while the onboard Intel Core i7-1370P computer runs control and lightweight inference workloads. RealSense depth vision, an IMU and an eight-microphone array provide perception inputs. BXI offers Elf 3 by configuration with a hardware-control SDK and MuJoCo simulation environment for motion-control, manipulation and sim-to-real development.
