About DAS Gripper

DAS Gripper is a 490-gram handheld parallel-jaw collection device with a maximum 100-millimetre opening and 2.5-kilogram gripping force. Three global-shutter cameras, a six-axis IMU, microphone and tactile array record the object, tool state and operator trajectory.

The system captures gripper angle, opening width, depth, RGB, audio, tactile and localisation data at synchronised rates. A three-hour battery and onboard storage support mobile sessions. GenRobot software compresses, uploads and manages datasets for robot learning and manipulation-model development.
