X30

About

About X30

X30 is Deep Robotics’ industrial quadruped for autonomous inspection in power, energy, manufacturing and other complex facilities. Its legged base is designed for stairs and uneven terrain, while configurable sensing supports visual, thermal, acoustic and environmental inspection tasks.

The platform is commercially offered with documentation and support, while the completed solution depends on the selected payload, communications, autonomy and site integration. Ingress protection, temperature and hazardous-area suitability follow the exact configuration evidence. X30 is distinct from the earlier X20 and lighter Lite platforms.

Timeline

  • DEEP Robotics X30 begins pilot inspection in SP Group cable tunnel

2025-03-04 - Deployment - SPock was patrolling sections of a 40-kilometre cable tunnel and screening for cracks, water seepage and other anomalies. DEEP Robotics customized the robot’s sensors, algorithms and navigation logic for Singapore’s tunnel layout. SP Group planned wider use after the pilot, with an expected saving of 480 manual inspection hours per year.

  • DEEP Robotics equips X30 with four Livox Mid-360 lidars

2023-11-22 - Partnership - Each Mid-360 covers a 360-degree horizontal and 59-degree vertical field of view while producing 200,000 points per second. The four-sensor layout reduces blind spots and supports terrain perception and obstacle avoidance on stairs and other complex surfaces. Livox presents the configuration for industrial inspection and emergency-response settings including power stations, factories and utility corridors.
