About SAGARA
SAGARA moves through six degrees of freedom for subsea inspection, survey and light intervention work at depths down to 300 metres. Dual HD and 4K cameras with 10× optical zoom provide detailed views, while 6,000 lumens of lighting illuminate structures and seabed targets. A 400-metre neutrally buoyant tether carries control and data between the vehicle and surface station.
Imaging sonar, side-scan sonar and other modular payloads can be fitted for infrastructure, research, defence and search missions. EyeROV lists speed above three knots, but current, tether management and payload configuration shape practical movement. Surface operators retain vehicle control and interpret sensor output, selecting the payload and survey pattern for the specific site.
