About Rizon 4
Flexiv Rizon 4 is a seven-axis adaptive robot with a four-kilogram payload, 876-millimetre reach and 20-kilogram arm weight. It can mount in any orientation, carries an IP65 rating and operates from 0 to 45 °C. Pose repeatability is ±0.05 millimetres and typical tool-centre-point speed is one metre per second.
Whole-arm force control and 0.1-newton force-sensing accuracy support contact-rich processes. In an exact-model compressor production application, a Rizon 4 with a custom tapered inspection tool checks copper tubes despite positional and angular variation; each inspection takes under three seconds and the cell reports a 99.9-percent success rate. Rizon 4 remains distinct from Rizon 4s, Rizon 4 with added F/T sensor and higher-payload Rizon 10 variants.
