HD Hyundai Robotics HDC25-18 is a six-axis hybrid collaborative robot for industrial handling and machine-tending cells. It carries 25 kilograms across a 1,880-millimetre reach and is specified for ±0.05-millimetre repeatability. The model occupies the lighter end of the HDC range, preserving the family’s long working envelope while supporting faster motion than its higher-payload siblings.
The 215-kilogram arm, mountable on the floor, ceiling or wall, uses the Hi7-N00-70 controller and has a stated maximum TCP speed of 6.89 metres per second. HDC robots combine industrial-robot structure with HD Hyundai’s safety and workspace-control functions, including the SafeSpace 2.0 environment. Cell-level risk assessment, guarding and validated operating limits still determine whether a particular installation can run collaboratively around people.

- HD Hyundai Robotics launches HDC high-payload collaborative robot series
2026-07-01 - Product Launch - The HDC50-17, HDC35-18 and HDC25-18 launched with payload ratings of 50 kg, 35 kg and 25 kg, respectively. Radar-based worker detection and SafeSpace 2.0 adjust operating speed around people within configured industrial cells. The range targets heavy handling, palletizing and CNC machine loading in automotive, battery and logistics applications.

2025-03-12 - Demonstration - The exhibition ran from 12 to 14 March at COEX in Seoul; the lineup comprised HDC50-17, HDC35-18 and HDC25-18. The preview combined industrial-arm payload targets with collaborative safety features; HDC50-17 was rated for 50 kg and 1,700 mm reach. At the time, the company planned moving hardware later in 2025 and formal release in the first half of 2026.
