About HEBI T-Series Actuators
T-Series actuators combine a brushless motor, gear train, elastic output stage, encoders, inertial measurement unit and onboard controller. The series-elastic architecture measures output torque through spring deflection and supports compliant interaction, disturbance detection and force-sensitive control in modular robot mechanisms.
T5, T8 and T25 sizes cover different torque requirements, while continuous rotation, through-bores and networked operation simplify cable routing and multi-joint construction. Each module accepts position, velocity and torque commands over Ethernet and returns joint state, temperature and inertial measurements. HEBI’s software and mechanical ecosystem supports arms, mobile manipulators and research robots.
