FRIDAY
About
About FRIDAY
FRIDAY is Holiday Robotics' wheeled humanoid for repetitive industrial work. The robot concentrates 40 of its 64 degrees of freedom in its two hands, combining dexterous manipulation with tactile sensing and force-aware control. Back-drivable arm and hand joints support compliant contact, while cameras and lidar provide surrounding perception. Hot-swappable batteries are designed to support extended operation across shifts.
Holiday's Vision-Language-Skill architecture separates interpreting a task from selecting and executing reusable skills. Holiday Sim provides simulation, Holiday Lab develops and improves skills, and OASys connects the system to factory operation. The company is working through private proofs of concept with industrial partners, focusing on automotive, semiconductor and logistics environments. FRIDAY remains part of an ongoing programme to improve manufacturing readiness and field deployment.
