GINO 1
About
About GINO 1
GINO 1 is Geekplus' wheeled humanoid for warehouse picking and handling. It combines a dual-arm body with the company's embodied-intelligence software and is intended to work alongside AMRs, robotic picking stations and warehouse systems. Geekplus targets item picking, packing, box handling and inspection within existing fulfilment processes.
The robot has appeared in picking demonstrations and in Geekplus' European Innovation Lab, opened in Düsseldorf in September 2026. The laboratory combines humanoid systems with the company's tote, pallet and shelf-handling solutions for demonstrations and testing. GINO 1 forms part of Geekplus' continuing development of embodied intelligence for logistics, with the robot's intended workflow extending beyond the transport tasks performed by conventional AMRs.

Timeline
- Geek+ demonstrates GINO 1 in integrated goods-to-robot warehouse workflow
2026-09-10 - Demonstration - An AMR delivered shelving to PopPick Lite, which presented a tote before GINO 1 recognized a towel, grasped it and moved it into another container. Geek+ quoted peak handling throughput of 240–300 pieces per hour and compatibility with containers weighing up to 20 kilograms. The company said GINO is already operating at some Chinese sites and plans a first Japanese field-test installation around fiscal 2027.
