Kachaka Evo

About

About Kachaka Evo

Kachaka Evo is Preferred Robotics’ compact autonomous mobile robot for lifting and transporting carts and shelves in factories, warehouses and other indoor workplaces. It drives underneath a compatible cart, raises it and carries loads of up to 100 kilograms. Marker-free SLAM navigation and camera recognition allow operators to configure routes and work areas through a PC or smartphone without installing magnetic tape. The body is 191 millimetres high, with a 500-millimetre minimum passage width when travelling alone.

The product was announced in December 2025 and entered initial manufacturing-site deployments in March 2026. Formal sales began in Japan in October 2026, with shipments scheduled through Preferred Robotics and its partners. The robot returns automatically to its charging station after tasks. Carrying capacity and passage requirements depend on the floor and cart configuration; existing carts require sufficient clearance for its lifting mechanism.
