About K05 Twister

K05 Twister is Kivnon’s compact bidirectional mobile robot for moving carts, racks and configured loads through industrial facilities. The 800 × 800 × 280 millimetre platform carries up to 450 kilograms on its chassis or tows up to 1,000 kilograms. It rotates through 360 degrees around its own axis and can use a retractable towing pin, a 60-millimetre lifting table, a roller conveyor or direct surface loading.

The current catalogue specifies magnetic guidance with RFID reading and a maximum speed of 0.7 metres per second. Kivnon also introduced a Mapping version in March 2024, using laser-based natural-feature navigation without floor tapes or RFID markers; that release rated its configuration at up to 1 metre per second. Fleet connectivity includes VDA 5050, while LiFePO4 batteries support automatic brush-and-floor-pad charging. Navigation and performance depend on the supplied configuration.
