About KMR iiwa CR
KMR iiwa CR is KUKA’s cleanroom mobile manipulator for semiconductor handling. It pairs an LBR iiwa arm with an autonomous mobile base and a gripper designed for sensitive semiconductor components such as wafers. Inductive charging lets the platform replenish its battery while stopped for handling work, reducing the need for separate charging interruptions.
Seven joint-torque sensors in the arm and laser scanners on the platform support human-robot collaboration and obstacle-aware navigation. Mecanum wheels provide omnidirectional travel and in-place rotation, while the modular platform can link production steps without fixed conveyor infrastructure.
