AVIA combines Livox's non-repetitive area scan with a repetitive line mode in one 905-nanometre LiDAR. The area pattern covers 70.4 by 77.2 degrees and accumulates denser coverage over time, while the line pattern narrows vertical coverage to 4.5 degrees for repeatable survey passes. Applications include aerial mapping, power-line inspection, construction surveying, smart-city sensing and fixed perception.

The 498-gram sensor outputs 240,000 points per second in first or strongest-return mode, 480,000 with dual returns and 720,000 with triple returns. Livox specifies a maximum 450-metre detection distance only under low light at 80-percent reflectivity; range falls with brighter illumination and darker targets. A built-in BMI088 inertial unit, Ethernet, GPS or PTP synchronisation, IP67 enclosure and typical 8–9-watt consumption support integration on vehicles and survey payloads.
