MELFA RV-8CRL

MELFA RV-8CRL is Mitsubishi Electric's six-axis vertical articulated robot for compact factory cells. It carries up to eight kilograms, provides a 931 mm maximum reach and is specified for ±0.02 mm position repeatability. The 41-kilogram arm is rated IP65 and can be installed on a floor, ceiling or wall subject to Mitsubishi's stated mounting conditions.

The CR800-CVD controller runs the robot, while wrist-side integration is supported by a 15-pin tool connection and two six-millimetre pneumatic lines. Maximum joint speeds differ by axis and reach as high as 720 degrees per second at J6. Those mechanical and interface specifications support handling, assembly and tending designs, but the end effector, fixtures, safety system and programmed process determine the cell's delivered capability.
