About HEX 6-Axis Force/Torque Sensors
HEX measures forces and torques along the X, Y and Z axes at a robot’s wrist. The sensor provides contact information for insertion, assembly, polishing, sanding and deburring and allows the controller to maintain a programmed force as the tool follows a surface.
HEX-E and HEX-H configurations provide different force and moment capacities. OnRobot software adds path recording, force control and insertion functions across supported robot brands. The integrated Quick Changer simplifies mounting and allows the sensor to be combined with grippers and process tools.
