Bota MiniONE Gen A (USB)

Bota MiniONE Gen A (USB) is a 30-millimetre-diameter, 23.2-millimetre-high six-axis force-and-torque sensor weighing about 30 grams. Its measurement ranges are ±80 newtons on Fx and Fy, ±100 newtons on Fz and ±1.5 newton-metres on each torque axis. The USB version communicates as a virtual COM port and operates from a five-volt supply at about one watt.

Measurements are available at up to 800 hertz, with C++, Python and ROS software support for host integration. Bota lists operation from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and protection against dust, water jets and immersion to one metre for 30 minutes. The sensor produces calibrated wrench data; mounting stiffness, overload protection, sampling configuration and the connected controller determine how that data influences a gripper, joint or test fixture.
