About

About ATI Nano17

ATI Nano17 is a six-axis force-and-torque transducer measuring 17 millimetres in diameter, 14.5 millimetres high and 9.07 grams in its sensing body. The SI-50-0.5 calibration spans ±50 newtons on the X and Y axes, ±70 newtons on Z and ±0.5 newton-metres about each rotational axis. Lower-range calibrations provide different capacity and resolution trade-offs within the same product family.

Silicon strain gauges connect through separate ATI electronics selected for the installation. Available interface families include analogue, EtherCAT, RS-485, Ethernet, EtherNet/IP, CAN and PROFINET; the quoted 40-kilohertz sample rate and sub-millisecond latency belong to the specified analogue configuration. IP20 and IP68 plate options address different environments. Mounting, cabling, calibration range, acquisition electronics and host control software define how Nano17 measurements are used in a robot or test system.
