About
About Lumabot
Lumabot is Onward Robotics’ autonomous mobile robot for coordinated case-picking and order-fulfilment work. High-capacity shelving carries up to 460 pounds, equivalent to about 208.7 kilograms, while put-to-light guidance directs associates to the correct position. Double-sided access lets a robot serve work from either side of an aisle.
Pyxis orchestration powers the Meet Me workflow, assigning people and robots independently so they converge at an appropriate pick location. This design reduces associate walking without coupling a worker to one robot for an entire route. Hot-swappable batteries and a stated runtime exceeding 20 hours support sustained shifts, while dynamic task allocation adapts the fleet to changing priorities and order volume.
