Rove

Path Robotics Rove combines a legged mobile platform with the company’s Obsidian welding system. The robot moves to a predefined work location, finds the seam, scans its geometry and adjusts welding parameters in real time. Process data capture and heat-distortion compensation remain part of the welding cycle, allowing the system to work on structures that are difficult to bring into a fixed cell.

Path positions Rove for shipyards and other large-scale fabrication environments. Saronic is an early adopter integrating the platform into vessel production in Franklin, Louisiana. The first commercial cohort is limited to 50 units scheduled to ship in 2027, so the product remains in a constrained pre-order deployment phase with early adopters.
