About LMI Gocator 3210
Gocator 3210 is an all-in-one structured-light snapshot sensor for measuring larger parts without moving a laser line across the target. A blue LED projector and two-megapixel stereo camera capture a full 3D field in one exposure, reducing motion-system and vibration dependencies. The specified field of view expands from 71 × 98 mm to 100 × 154 mm across a 110 mm measurement range, with 60–90 µm XY resolution and 35 µm VDI/VDE accuracy. Accelerated measurement reaches 6 Hz.
LMI positions the sensor for full-field inspection of automotive components and assemblies in stationary or robot-mounted installations. Its onboard browser interface supports configuration and real-time visualization, while the open-source SDK, native drivers and industrial protocols connect the sensor to robots, PLCs and external inspection software. The IP67 enclosure, 1.7 kg mass and 24–48 VDC input suit factory integration. “Pick-and-place friendly” describes installation posture; the sensor supplies perception and measurement rather than manipulating parts itself.
