About Vector AI

Vector AI is a two-in-one electric reconnaissance system that can change without tools between a fixed-wing VTOL configuration and a multicopter using the same fuselage, avionics, sensors, data links and operator workflow. The fixed-wing version flies for more than 180 minutes, while the multicopter provides approximately 45 minutes and can support tethered observation.

Dual NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules process gimbal and fixed-camera feeds for object detection, classification and tracking at the edge. Visual-inertial navigation, SLAM, anti-jam antennas and dual-band links support operation in GNSS- and EW-contested environments. Open interfaces connect the aircraft to ATAK, SitaWare and other battle-management systems.

    2026-04-15 - Contract Award - Quantum Systems said Vector AI was selected by the U.S. Army for company-level small UAS capability. Vector AI combines electric VTOL launch and recovery with fixed-wing endurance, AI-enabled mission planning, electro-optical sensing and vision-based targeting.
