ZY-GZ140 is a foldable multirotor reconnaissance aircraft with a 13-kilogram maximum take-off weight and payload capacity of at least five kilograms. It flies for approximately 30 minutes unloaded or 15 minutes at full payload and reaches stated speeds above 30 metres per second.

The 140-millimetre-diameter body can be hand launched, mechanically launched, dropped from another aircraft or released from a container. Navigation functions support operation when satellite positioning is unavailable, while several aircraft can coordinate as a swarm. Payload options include electro-optical sensors, communications equipment and other mission modules for distributed field reconnaissance.
