Rheinmetall GOAT

American Rheinmetall’s GOAT vehicle was selected for a competitive US Army prototype programme involving two suppliers. Rheinmetall’s programme called for eight vehicles to be manufactured and delivered for Army testing and evaluation in 2025.

The competition is intended to compare the suppliers’ platforms before selecting one for a subsequent production phase. Rheinmetall’s entry focuses on moving equipment and supplies across rough terrain, placing robotic transport within the Army’s logistics operations. Its programme position is that of a competing prototype platform, with the production decision following the comparative evaluation.
