M1 Plus

M1 Plus is a solid-state scanning lidar that supplies three-dimensional point clouds to an automotive or robotic perception computer. Its MEMS-based optical architecture concentrates finer sampling within a region of interest while retaining a wider surrounding pattern. The unit measures 111 by 110 by 45 millimetres and is available for 12- or 24-volt vehicle installations.

RoboSense specifies a maximum range of 200 metres and 180 metres on a target with 10-percent reflectivity. Single-return output reaches 787,500 points per second, with average angular resolution of 0.2 by 0.2 degrees and 0.2 by 0.1 degrees in the region of interest. The shared M-platform has ISO 26262 ASIL B functional-safety certification, and its scanning chip passed AEC-Q100 testing. Detection performance still depends on weather, reflectivity, mounting, calibration and host software.
