FT 300-S

FT 300-S is Robotiq's six-axis force and torque sensor for collaborative and industrial robot integration. It measures forces along three axes to 300 newtons and moments around three axes to 30 newton-metres, sampling at 100 hertz through a Modbus RTU connection. The 440-gram unit carries an IP65 rating and a stated overload capacity of 500 percent.

Contactless sensing is designed to avoid wear and routine recalibration. Robotiq supplies the sensor with its Force Copilot software for configuring force-sensitive robot applications such as insertion, assembly, finishing, testing and machine tending. Those motions are executed by the connected robot and tooling; FT 300-S provides the contact measurements used by the integrated cell's control programme.
