HEX-E QC

HEX-E QC is the higher-sensitivity model in OnRobot’s HEX six-axis force/torque sensor range. Mounted between a robot wrist and compatible tooling, it measures force and torque along Fx, Fy, Fz, Tx, Ty and Tz. Optical sensing is designed to withstand sudden shocks, while the integrated Quick Changer interface supports installation across major collaborative and industrial robot brands.

The sensor supplies closed-loop contact feedback for sanding, polishing, deburring, insertion, assembly and quality checks. Constant-force control lets a finishing tool follow changing surface contours, and hand-guided path recording captures complex trajectories for later replay. HEX-E QC remains a sensing component: the connected robot, end-of-arm tool and application software perform the physical workflow.
