About Seaeye Cougar-XT Compact

Seaeye Cougar-XT Compact is a 300-metre inspection ROV with a low-profile chassis and small-diameter tether designed to reduce drag in tidal currents. Four horizontal and two vertical thrusters control movement, while heading and depth assistance help the pilot maintain a stable inspection position.

A fibre-optic multiplexer carries video, serial data and Ethernet between the vehicle and its surface equipment. Optional tools include thickness gauges, cathodic-potential probes, brushes and manipulators, allowing inspections to collect measurements or perform light intervention. An altimeter can add automatic altitude control, and surface equipment can be installed as standalone units or in a control cabin.
