Seaeye Panther-XT Plus

Seaeye Panther-XT Plus is Saab Seaeye’s electric light-work and survey ROV for high-current subsea operations. Eight horizontal and two vertical thrusters position the vehicle around structures, with an optional additional vertical thruster. Its 800-metre depth rating and provision for two Schilling Orion manipulators support inspection, maintenance, salvage and pipeline work.

Sensors and heavy-duty tooling skids adapt the vehicle to the job. Fibre-optic interfaces carry video, serial data and Ethernet between the ROV and surface controls. Operators can deploy it directly on a tether or through a Type 8 tether-management system, with an A-frame launch-and-recovery arrangement for the latter configuration.
