About

About SVTM Mechatronic Joints

Servotecnica SVTM Mechatronic Joints combine a brushless motor, absolute encoder, hollow shaft and zero-backlash gearbox in a compact actuator. The through-bore supports cabling or rotary-interface integration, while IP65 sealing and high-resolution feedback target precise, repeatable robot motion.

The SVTM 78 reference configuration uses a BiSS-C absolute encoder and a 50:1 harmonic gearbox, with alternative ratios and encoder protocols available. Servotecnica moved the family into standard availability in November 2024 after supplying customized versions for robotics applications.
