About

About HarmoCore TCHL Series

HarmoCore TCHL Series integrates a harmonic reducer, frameless motor, encoder, drive electronics and optional torque sensing in a lightweight joint module. TC Drive’s cross-spline architecture is designed to reduce connecting hardware while supporting double-sided, rod, through, single-sided, bottom and radial mounting arrangements.

The 48 V family spans 52 mm to 131 mm frame diameters. The official brochure lists rated output torque from 7.7 Nm to 267 Nm, peak output torque from 25 Nm to 799 Nm, EtherCAT communication and CAN FD availability, with standard and brake-equipped configurations.

Timeline

  • TC Drive previews HarmoCore lightweight harmonic joints ahead of CIIF 2025

2025-09-16 - Product Launch - TC Drive said it would introduce HarmoCore at the China International Industry Fair opening on 23 September 2025. The design integrates a torque sensor without increasing the harmonic reducer envelope and provides output-position and torque feedback. Its electrical interface combines power with EtherCAT, CAN FD or RS485 communication for humanoid and collaborative robot integration.
