About Zivid 2+ M60

Zivid 2+ M60 is a robot-mounted 3D and colour camera for applications that need detailed object geometry at close range. A single capture can provide a 3D point cloud, a five-megapixel 2D image, depth, surface normals and signal-to-noise data in a pixel-aligned format. This unified output removes the calibration step between separate 2D and 3D cameras and supports fine assembly, robot guidance, inspection and machine-vision model inputs.

Its working range is 30 to 110 centimetres, with 0.24-millimetre spatial resolution and a 58-by-47-centimetre field of view at 60 centimetres. Zivid states dimensional trueness above 99.8 percent and captures as short as 100 milliseconds. The one-kilogram magnesium-housed camera measures 169 by 124 by 56 millimetres, carries an IP65 rating and uses 10-gigabit Ethernet. Shock, vibration and thermal calibration are designed for on-arm use, but achievable accuracy and cycle time depend on scene material, exposure strategy and robot motion.

    2026-05-06 - Capability - AIRO-ONE pairs the Zivid 2+ MR60 with a six-axis force/torque sensor and seventh-axis linear guide for surface scanning and adaptive finishing-path generation. The camera captures detailed 3D data from complex and reflective metal surfaces, with sub-millimeter accuracy and acquisition times as low as 150 ms. AIDIN says the resulting system supports repeatable finishing with active force control and is being deployed by multiple manufacturing customers in South Korea.
