About Square Robot
Square Robot provides tank-inspection services built around the SR-3 autonomous inspection platform. The system combines robotics, high-resolution sensors and automated data capture to inspect the inside of above-ground storage tanks while the asset remains in service. SR-3 inspections follow API 653 and EEMUA 159 requirements and avoid confined-space entry.
Square Robot serves petrochemical, utility, rail, mining and other industrial operators and reports more than 400 tanks inspected across 17 countries, alongside 236,000 confined-space hours eliminated. Inspection scope, certification and operating conditions follow the tank and service programme.

The Foxglove workflow centralizes sensor outputs, 3D environments, camera feeds and ROS bag data instead of requiring repeated exports and specialized Ubuntu setups. Square Robot rolled the platform out company-wide in less than a month, enabling Windows-based field workflows and real-time collaboration across software, systems, electrical and field teams. The change cut debugging time by 50%, saved hundreds of development hours and accelerated delivery of new features and fixes.
