About Nikon
Auto-calibration and route setting connect Nikon's camera and recognition stack directly to an industrial robot's motion plan. Nikon rates image processing at up to 250 frames per second, allowing the system to update gripping positions when a workpiece moves or changes orientation.
The same platform supports bin picking, assembly and appearance inspection. A cloud connection enables offline workpiece changes, error-log analysis and centralized management of multiple units, extending the offer beyond camera hardware into cell setup and fleet-level maintenance. Nikon also offers 3D tracking for moving conveyor workpieces without an external encoder.
