NanTenna develops compact antennas intended to reduce the height, weight and power burden of tactical communications equipment. Its work covers satellite communications, Mobile User Objective System links and line-of-sight radio applications where conventional protruding antennas can be difficult to package on personnel, vehicles or small platforms.
The company designs and manufactures antennas in Melbourne, Florida, and works with customers to adapt frequency coverage, radiation pattern, mounting and environmental characteristics to the host system. Evaluation and loan units allow programme teams to test performance before selecting a production configuration. NanTenna therefore operates as both a component supplier and an antenna-engineering partner for defence and aerospace communications programmes.

- 2025-12-10 - Award - NanTenna selected for NATO DIANA's 2026 cohort
The programme provides contractual funding and access to DIANA accelerator sites and test centres. The selection supports development and validation of dual-use technology against an Allied defence and security challenge.
