About Artimus Robotics
Artimus Robotics manufactures HASEL soft actuators made from flexible polymer pouches, dielectric liquid and compliant electrodes. Applied voltage draws the electrodes together and redistributes the liquid, producing controlled contraction, expansion or bending without gears or a conventional electromagnetic motor.
Actuator geometry, pouch count and stack arrangement tune force and stroke for grippers, valves, haptics, wearables and other compact mechanisms. A standard contracting stack weighs 204 grams, produces 240 newtons of blocking force and seven millimetres of free stroke at eight kilovolts. Artimus supplies development kits, one- and eight-channel high-voltage drivers and custom assemblies, with HASEL systems used in automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace and defence development.
